AIIMS
Syllabus will cover 20 questions from General
Knowledge section. Each question carries one mark and hence the candidates will
have to attempt the AIIMS GK section for 20 marks.

. It will also carry a negative marking of
1/3 for incorrect answers.
·
Physics, Chemistry and biology are the
primary sections of AIIMS MBBS. However, the candidates should not forget that 20 marks
will have a huge role to play while deciding the rank.

But the AIIMS MBBS Syllabus has incorporated
the GK section so that the candidates having a strong GK base get a competitive
edge over the othe
GK Syllabus
o Although there is no definite syllabus for the AIIMS
MBBS General KnowledgeSection, yet a few common topics are marked out from
the previous years’ AIIMS MBBS question papers. The list of
important topics is given below:
o These topics belong to static GK i.e. the questions from
these topics do not necessarily covers the latest news or current affairs. But
they are the common GK questions that the examination board expects the
candidates to know.
o History (Indian medival and modern,
o Polity like function of supreme court,election commission,president
etc)
o Geography( River,land,earth quake,crops tec)
o Economics(budget ,market)
o Science and technology(Computers,Defence,ISRO,disaster,medicine
)
o Gmaes new record, famous books and writers)
o Aptitude,reasoning and logical aptitude)
AIIMS GK Reference Books
General Knowledge is an extensive topic. For the static
GK section, you should keep going through the common GK resources such as GK
monthly magazines and annual publications. Below given are a few books and

AIIMS MBBS 2018 covers 4 sections- Chemistry, Physics, Biology and
General Knowledge. The first three sections will have 60 questions each. The
AIIMS Medical entrance has 20 questions from the General Knowledge section.

The candidates have to complete a total of
200 questions in 3 hours and
30 minutes. Each question carries one mark and hence the
total marks of the AIIMS Medical Entrance Exam is 200. The
candidate can attempt the question paper in either Hindi or English as per
their preference.
